An exhibit featuring outstanding Covington Catholic High School teams, athletes and coaches will be open to the public at Behringer Crawford Museum in Covington’s Devou Park from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Organized by the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame, the free exhibit will include trophies, rings, plaques, uniforms, programs and photographs from many of the school’s 21 state championship teams.

CovCath is the only local high school that has claimed two state championships in basketball. The Colonels have a 7-1 record in football state championship games and they were the last local team to win a state baseball title in 2002.

Former and current coaches and members of the CovCath Hall of Fame will be there Saturday to celebrate the school’s winning tradition and the teams that followed the Colonels’ motto — With a Spirit That Will Not Die — when they competed.

The Behringer Crawford Museum’s address is 1600 Montague Road, Covington, Ky.
