Reminder: Beyond the Curb is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; see properties in Cov’s MainStrasse


Where can architecture and history buffs, interior design devotees and fans of urban living all meet together? At the Beyond the Curb Urban Living Tour on Sunday, April 28 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

This year’s spring tour is focused on Covington’s charming MainStrasse Village and offers an exclusive look inside the historic homes, artsy lofts and modern apartments of this eclectic neighborhood.

Beyond the Curb is a series of one-day, self-guided tours that showcase the interesting living, dining, shopping and entertainment options available in Northern Kentucky’s urban river cities.

The April 28th tour is the 8th installment in this series.

As always, the selection of properties featured on the tour includes an intriguing mix of completed and in-progress projects that offer ideas and inspiration for everyone interested in the urban lifestyle.

Early bird tickets are $15 and are available online at www.BeyondTheCurb.org until 11:30 p.m. tonight.

Tickets will also be available for purchase for $20 on the day of the tour, either online or at the registration area at Lisse Steakhuis, 530 Main St. in Covington.

Tickets include admission to exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of cool properties, entry to win one of two MainStrasse raffle baskets and free parking at nearby locations. All ticket holders must start their tour at Lisse Steakhuis, where they will receive their official ticket, tour booklet and gift.

Northern Kentucky’s river cities are full of hidden gems, tucked in amongst the iconic architecture and stunning river and skyline views.

The tour is presented by KMK Law and the Catalytic Fund.
