KY Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities to host 7th annual Clay Shoot to benefit local children

The Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) will host its 7th Annual Pulling for Kids Charity Clay Shoot presented by The NRA Foundation on Thursday, July 11.

The event will once again be held at Elk Creek Hunt Club in Owenton, a world-class sporting clays facility and host of this event since its conception in 2013.

“The NRA Foundation has shown great support to SCC by committing to be the Presenting Sponsor every year we’ve hosted our charity clay shoot,” says Kentucky Chapter Director Dayna Winslette. “They believe in our mission and vision for helping children in our local community and dedicate funding to support these efforts year after year. Their contribution allows us to fund multiple grants to non-profit children’s organizations in our own backyard. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in this endeavor.”

Teams and sponsorships for this event are available only through pre-registration with SCC and are first-come, first-served. Because this event is for a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributions over the Fair Market Value of each item with a retail value are tax-deductible.

Supporters may purchase a team of four participants for $1,650, which includes golf cart and gun rentals, ear and eye protection, ammunition, sporting clays, lunch and participant gift bag for each team member.

Businesses or individuals may also upgrade and become a sponsor of this event, adding assets to their experience to show further support for SCC Kentucky. Sponsorship levels range from $2,000 to $7,500, include at least one team of four and feature sponsorship level exclusivity. A complete list of assets for each can be obtained by contacting SCC Kentucky directly.

The event provides one-on-one interaction with other local business representatives and the opportunity to shoot alongside NASCAR drivers and other celebrities in attendance.

Businesses are encouraged to use this opportunity for employee recognition, team building or community involvement, all while supporting an exceptional non-profit organization that’s making a difference in the lives of children in the local area.

The final deadline for team registration is Friday, June 21; however, sponsorships are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Monetary donations towards this event, without purchasing a team or sponsorship, are also being accepted until Friday, September 13.
