Florence Police released the following statement regarding the incident:

On 04/06/2019 at 8:23 PM, the Florence Police Department received a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Turfway Road at the intersection of Sebree Drive in Florence.

The operator of the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Turfway Road while the operator of the pickup truck was traveling westbound on Turfway Road.  The operator of the pickup truck was in the process of making a left turn from Turfway Road onto Sebree Drive as the motorcycle was approaching the intersection.
