NKU holding open forum for community to take a look at first draft of its Success by Design plan

Northern Kentucky University invites the community to take a first look at the draft of the Success by Design strategic framework during an open forum on Wednesday, March 20.

The strategic framework focuses on advancing student success around the three pillars of access, completion and career and community engagement. Faculty, staff, students, alumni, business and community partners shared their ideas through TalkShops and online surveys. Before the framework is presented to the Board of Regents, the university is holding this open forum for additional feedback and suggestions.

“Although we are sharing this draft of the strategic framework now, we also recognize that the listening must never stop. We must be open to continuous feedback in order to evolve and advance student success aligned with the needs of our region,” said President Ashish Vaidya. “I share my sincere thanks to all of you who have contributed to these conversations, and please know these discussions won’t stop with the adoption of our framework — it is not a static plan. For NKU to innovate and adapt as our region and our world evolves, we will continue to look to you for help and support of our students and our university.”
