The Ludlow Theatre/BIRCUS Brewing Co. will present ComedySportz Cincinnati for a two-month run of shows each Saturday from 3-5 p.m. in March and April.
A family-friendly experience for all, ComedySportz Cincinnati opened in 2017 and was voted “Best Improv Comedy Night Out” by Cincinnati Magazine (2018).
ComedySportz is proudly produced by OTRimprov.
A ComedySportz match features two teams of players competing for laughs and points, with a referee keeping things moving and calling fouls. Every show is different, with different players, different games, and different audiences supplying new suggestions.
The fans judge the scenes and games and ultimately decide the winners and losers. ComedySportz also asks “willing volunteers” to join us for a game or two each match, and BIRCUS makes them look great!

The Ludlow Theatre was built in 1946 as a 700 seat movie theatre, the Ludlow Theatre was converted into a factory in the mid-1980’s. In 2009, Circus Mojo converted the theatre into a circus training and performance venue that has hosted circus artists from the tri-state area and from 35 nations around the world. The Ludlow Theatre, now a 285-seat venue hosting a myriad of events fueled by the BIRCUS Brewing Co., is a unique destination inspired by the Ludlow Lagoon 1895-1917.
