Campbell County Public Library offers activities for adults, children at all branches in February


The Campbell County Public Library operates four branches.

The Cold Spring Branch is located at 3920 Alexandria Pike in Cold Spring, phone 859-781-6166. The Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch is located at 1000 Highland Ave. in Fort Thomas, phone 859-572-5033. The Newport Branch is located at 901 E. Sixth St. in Newport, phone 859-572-5035. The Alexandria Branch is located at 8830 Alexandria Pike in Alexandria, phone 859-572-7463.

There are two Express locations for pickups and returns in Silver Grove and Melbourne.

Experienced and new players alike welcome to play Dungeons and Dragons 5e. City Barbeque Food for Thought Series: What Would Machiavelli Think of Politics Today

Dr. William Landon from the NKU History and Geography Department discusses how the political divisions in our country run deep. When Niccolo Machiavelli authored his famous treatise The Prince, he was faced with a political landscape that was, perhaps, even more fractured than our own. Free Tax Preparation from AARP Tax-Aide

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation help to anyone and especially those 50 and older. Tax-Aide’s IRS-certified volunteers are available to prepare individual tax returns. appointments available on a first come, first served basis. Yoga Nidra/Sleep Yoga

Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep relaxation for the body and mind.  Often referred to as a state of “yogic sleep,” it harnesses a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.  In this state one can more easily align the mind to one’s highest intention or purpose, using a positive phrase or mantra offered to the subconscious mind. Yoga Nidra is helpful for stress reduction, insomnia, anxiety, and developing a greater state of well-being. No prior experience is needed.
