Behringer-Crawford Museum offers Jake Speed’s ‘Holiday Bluegrass’ rollickin’ concert on Friday

It’s American folk, bluegrass and ragtime with Jake Speed, who returns to BCM’s Rivers Gallery for another rollickin’ holiday concert.

Known as the Woody Guthrie of Cincinnati, Jake Speed uses a traditional folksy delivery to compose timely and timeless songs that tell great stories with a bit of a lyrical edge.

His tongue-in-cheek stories and crowd-engaging antics (such as watering can solos, sing-alongs, and dance moves) keep audiences thoroughly entertained.

A two-time winner of the Cincinnati Entertainment Award for Best Songwriter, Speed is a favorite with both young and old BCM concert-goers.

Admission to the concert is free for museum members and included with paid admission for non-members.
