Amanda Johannemann joins Chamber

Amanda Johannemann has been named Director of Talent Strategies for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

As Director of Talent Strategies Johannemann will support GROW NKY, the NKY Chamber’s talent initiative focused on using the community’s full complement of assets to grow, attract, and retain a globally competitive workforce. Included in her responsibilities will be directing the Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP) leadership program.

Most recently, Johannemann held roles the Northern Kentucky Education Council and The Patty Brisben Foundation. She returns to the NKY Chamber with 15 years of experience in nonprofit work, with an extensive background in convening community partners, fundraising/development, and program management. During her previous 11-year tenure with the NKY Chamber, Johannemann focused on education initiatives and workforce development under the umbrella of the NKY Chamber Foundation.

An advocate for regional growth and promoter of northern Kentucky, her community involvement includes roles with the YWCA’s Career Women of Achievement and Mamie Earl Sells Scholarship committees, 100 Wise Women-Cincinnati, NKY Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Development Coalition, Leadership NKY Class of 2007, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation TPM (Talent Pipeline Management) Grant Network, NKY Workforce Investment Board, Covington Partners Board of Directors, Junior Achievement of OKI, NKY STEM Collaborative, Diverse by Design, the Northern Kentucky Education Council and a member of the 2016 Rising Stars class with the YWCA Greater Cincinnati.

Johannemann earned a Bachelor of Arts in the College of Communications from the University of Kentucky and is a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management at Loyola Marymount University.

SD1’s Bell honored

Rodney Bell, senior safety manager at Sanitation District No. 1, has received the Employer Support of the Guard Reserve Program (ESGR) Above and Beyond Award.

Bell, who has volunteered as the Northern Kentucky Area 7 director of the Kentucky ESGR for 12 years, was presented the award by Ret. Col. Phil Miller, Kentucky state chairman of the ESGR.

ESGR, a Department of Defense program, was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers, and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee’s military commitment. The program is supported by 3,750 volunteers in 54 committees located across the United States.

Erlanger’s Fultz get ‘Civilian Employee Award’

Erlanger Police Clerk Carolyn Fultz for being selected the 2018 recipient of the Civilian Employee Award by the Kentucky Women’s Law Enforcement Network.

According to KWLEN the award is given to “a civilian employed in a law enforcement or public safety organization whose work is in direct support of the profession. Through individual deed(s), this person symbolizes dedication to the profession of law enforcement and the citizens in the communities in which they serve. This award winner is an individual who has demonstrated exceptional achievement in carrying out their duty.”

Fultz, who’s been with the City of Erlanger for 28 years, will be recognized at an awards ceremony on November 15 during the 2018 Annual Training Conference at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Bell County.

Moore, Doyle join Anneken, Huey & Moser

Natalie Moore, CPA has joined Anneken, Huey & Moser, PLLC in Fort Wright, as a Senior Staff Accountant. Natalie received a Bachelor’s of Science with a Major in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University in 2015. She also received a Master of Accountancy from Northern Kentucky University in 2018 and became a licensed CPA in August 2018. Natalie has worked in public accounting since 2018, with her main focus in tax preparation.

Brian Doyle

Brian Doyle has joined Anneken, Huey & Moser as a Staff Accountant. Brian specializes in audit, tax preparation, and special projects. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an Associates degree in Business Administration from Thomas More College in 1983. Brian brings over 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and compliance from the business industry.

Anneken, Huey & Moser PLLC is focused on meeting the consulting tax and accounting needs of small business and entrepreneurs across Great Cincinnati.

Joseph Gelfand joins LGM Pharma

LGM Pharma, an innovation-driven active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) company, headquartered in Erlanger with offices in Florida, New Jersey, and Israel recently announced the appointment of Joseph Gelfand as Vice President of Supply Chain and Sales Operations at the Boca Raton, Florida location.

In this capacity, Gelfand will be responsible for Supply chain and inventory management and optimization in support of LGM Pharma’s multi-national activities and operations. Gelfand has more than 12 years experience in various supply chain positions and most recently at Twinlab heading the Supply Chain in quality-driven health and wellness supplements. Prior to that he led the Purchasing and Demand Planning teams for Chewy.com which was acquired by PetSmart for $3.35 billion, which at the time was the largest ever acquisition of an e-commerce business. He holds a Masters of Science in Decision Information Sciences and a Business degree from the University of Florida.
 
CT Consultants add Ryan Billing to staff

CT Consultants, Inc., which has an office in Ft. Mitchell, has announced the addition of Ryan Billing to its staff. Ryan joins CT Consultants as Staff Engineer in the firm’s Columbus Office. His responsibilities will be site development and municipal engineering. Ryan graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and has five years of experience in inspection, design, and project management. His work experience includes Construction Management at Ferguson Construction, Staff Engineer at GGC Engineers, and Project Administrator for the City of Gahanna.

CT Consultants, Inc. is a growing consulting engineering firm, acquiring eight firms in the past five years.
