NKY Chamber to host Technology Recycling Day for members in Chamber Center parking lot November 14

On Wednesday, November 14, members of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) are invited to dispose of their electronic waste at Technology Recycling Day.

Hosted by the NKY Chamber, in partnership with Blair Technologies, the event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Chamber Center parking lot (300 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell).

During the event, participants can safely dispose of unwanted electronic devices, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other office equipment. For items that may contain private information, such as hard drives, Blair Technologies can erase all of the previous owner’s information up to the Department of Defense Standards.

“We all have it. It fills our closets, our drawers, and our storage rooms.  Electronic waste is everywhere,” said Andy Blair, CEO of Blair Technology Group. “E-waste is growing 300% faster than other forms of waste and continues to increase with each technological advancement. Finding creative solutions for handling this waste is critical to our world.”

During the morning hours, NKY Chamber staff will serve complimentary coffee and snacks courtesy of Technology Recycling Day sponsor, Biggby Coffee.
