Tri-ED launches national search for new leader; engages search consultants, posts position profile


The Board of Directors of the Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-ED) has launched a search for the organization’s next President & Chief Executive Officer.

Tri-ED’s former President & CEO Dan Tobertge left the organization earlier this year.

Waverly Partners, a national executive search firm, has been retained to assist in the search.

Candace McGraw, CEO of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is serving as Chair of an 8-member Search Committee that will work with Waverly Partners to identify qualified local, regional and national candidates and select the community’s next leader.

“We are excited to launch this national search for our new leader who will drive economic development growth and success within our community,” said Boone County Judge/Executive Gary Moore, Chairman of the Tri-ED Board.

“The position profile that has been developed through the search effort details the experience and leadership characteristics of our preferred candidate. Executives with backgrounds in economic development, private sector or related experience with a leadership style that elevates our growth in this region are highly attractive.”
