Purple People Bridge fundraiser Oc. 13 helps those who can’t afford addiction treatment services

The non-profit Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT) will hold its annual fundraiser on the Purple People Bridge Saturday, Oct. 13, turning the popular Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky span for one evening into the Recovery Bridge.

CATFest 2018 features a hand-held luminary event called “Light The Way To Recovery  at Sunset.”

Other fun activities include live music, food trucks, games for kids, face painting and themed basket raffles.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

The closing ceremony is at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $35. Children ages 6-12 are $10. Proceeds go towards helping those who can’t afford to pay for addiction treatment services.

TriHealth is the presenting sponsor of CATFest 2018.

The Center for Addiction Treatment, located at 830 Ezzard Charles Drive near downtown Cincinnati, provides high-quality affordable treatment for patients with addiction to drugs, alcohol or gambling.
