One big Mega Millions ticket sold in S. Carolina; but $1m ticket sold in Ky, $10,000 winners in Florence

The Mega Millions big jackpot was a single purchase made in South Carolina, but two $10,000 tickets from last night’s lottery drawing were sold in Florence. These tickets matched four of the five white ball winning numbers and the Mega Ball.

The two tickets in Florence were sold at:

Mt. Zion Sunoco
430 Mt. Zion Road
Florence 41042

Brickhouse Pub N Grub
7718 US Highway 42
Florence 41042

One winner in Kentucky did win the game’s second prize of $1 million. That ticket was sold in Louisville and matched all five white ball numbers but not the Mega Ball.

The winning numbers are:

5 – 28 – 62 – 65 – 70 with a Mega Ball of 5

Staff members from the Kentucky Lottery’s security department will perform a series of security measures at the store that sold the ticket this morning, and after those are completed the name of the winning retailer will be disclosed.

This is the fourth $1 million ticket sold in Kentucky over the past 17 days.

Three of the winners were from the Mega Millions game. The other $1 million winner was a Powerball ticket, which has a jackpot up for grabs tonight of $620 million.
