NDA/CCH Much Ado About Nothing

NDA/CCH production of Much Ado About Nothing will take place October 19-21 at Notre Dame Academy. The NDA/CCH Theatre program is comprised of a talented group of young people who are dedicated to the arts and telling stories via the stage. Their productions are performed, designed, and managed by students of both schools.

The war is over, and love and mischief are in the air! Leonato, a respectable nobleman, lives in idyllic Messina with his daughter, Hero, his niece, Beatrice, and her father Antonio. Leonato is preparing to welcome home from the war his friends Don Pedro, a prince, Claudio, a young nobleman, and Benedick, a clever man who is always making witty jokes. Don John, the illegitimate brother of Don Pedro, is sullen and bitter about his brother’s success, and plots to make trouble for everyone in Messina.

Caroline Stine, the theatre director of NDA/CCH theatre, is incredibly proud of all the work the students have done over the past several weeks.

“NDA/CCH theatre is incredibly unique in the NKY area in that our shows are completely run and designed by students,” Stine said. “Much Ado About Nothing is no exception, an exciting romp through one of Shakespeare’s funniest comedies. Our students display an amazing knowledge and in-depth understanding of Shakespeare’s language, creating an experience for their audience that won’t be repeated anywhere around!”

The show will run from October 19 – 21. Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Ticket prices are $5 for students and $12 for adults. Order tickets online here.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door 30 minutes prior to show time.

What a mass joke is the legislative panel described above.
All they know is how to gerrymander, how to tax, and how to rip
people off. They have no serious knowledge of beneficial legislation.
