Taylor Mill artist Sharmon Davidson to present ‘Alternate Views’ show in Nashville, Ind. on Sept. 28


“Alternate Views” by Taylor Mill artist Sharmon Davidson will open at Ascension Fine Arts in Nashville, Indiana with an artist’s reception on Friday, September 28th, from 4-7 p.m. at the gallery.

“Alternate Views” features two styles of mixed media pieces: ephemera collage on antique book covers and monotypes with additional mixed media.

The show will run through October 23rd.

Davidson grew up in Clermont County and received her BFA and Masters from Northern Kentucky University. Her work has been widely exhibited and collected for many years.

Speaking about her work she says, “My passions for nature and for creating are at the core of who I am, and are the source of my ongoing artistic adventure, communicating through line and color what cannot be expressed in words.”

Ascension Fine Arts is located at 61 W. Main St., Nashville, Indiana. During the opening, the Village of Nashville will be hosting an Art Walk. Thirteen local galleries will be open late offering a variety of shows, refreshments, live music and wine tastings.
