Unlock the Block back for second run today at Latonia’s Ritte’s Corner — join the fun

Rock the streets of Latonia for the second Unlock the Block Saturday from 4 – 10 at the Ritte’s Corner Historic District, the corner of Decoursey Ave. and West Southern Avenue.

Unlock the Block will feature three different bands that all have rich Northern Kentucky history: DV8, The Drysdales, and White Liger.

Beyond the music, the festival places emphasis on supporting the neighborhood and region by including local businesses.

Enjoy craft beers from Braxton Brewery, as well as mixed drinks from Second Sight Spirits. Food vendors include local favorites such as California TriTip, Shiver Popsicles, and Pretzelfuls.

Festival attendees are encouraged to check out local restaurants and retailers while in Latonia. Stop by RCK Pro for their grand opening event, grab a specialty “Block and Bleu Burger” from Bards Burgers, and a delight in a donut from Moonrise Donuts.

Families can stop by the Community Zone where kids can check out Skool Aid, Let’s Glow Crazy where you can stock up on glow-sticks, and Keep Covington Beautiful.

Free parking is available at the Latonia Plaza Shopping Center on Winston Rd.

Let’s come together as a community at Unlock the Block where good music, delicious food, and great memories will be shared by all.

Sponsors Kroger and Jordan Huizenga for helping to make this festival possible.
