DHL to lease space in CVG Centre as it continues to grow its superhub; will occupy three floors

The CVG Airport Board approved the lease of 68,000 square feet of office space at CVG Centre to DHL, the world’s leading international express services provider.

DHL operates one of its three global superhubs at CVG. The company will occupy the third, fourth and fifth floors of CVG Centre to handle its continued growth and expansion.

The lease agreement is for five years with an option to extend for an additional five years.

“DHL is a fantastic business partner, who continues to grow its hub at CVG and add to its talented workforce,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG. “We’re happy to help fill their need for additional office space through this lease agreement.”

DHL will utilize the CVG Centre for its operational support teams as well as a new Certified International Specialist training center for employee learning and development programs.

“We are excited to announce this further investment in our world-class CVG Hub and Operations,” said Travis Cobb, senior vice president, network operations for DHL Express Americas. “This office expansion at CVG Centre will provide a state-of-the-art work environment for our employees and enable the next phase of growth at the CVG Hub.”

DHL has invested more than $280 million in its Americas Hub at CVG airport since 2009.
