“With the Yesterday’s Headlines brand we’ve always tried to create a style of beer that encapsulates the ever changing craft beer landscape,” said Jake Rouse, Co-Founder and CEO of Braxton Brewing Company. “There was only one style that came to mind this year – New England Style IPA. We called in a few favors for the hops and the result is beautiful, hazy, and delicious!”

Yesterday’s Headlines is a beer that celebrates the year in review for Braxton Brewing Company. In 2016, Volume 1 was a Kiwi Berliner Weisse. In 2017, Volume 2 was a Cherry Kettle Sour. Braxton Brewing is celebrating year three with the most popular style in the industry — a New England Style IPA.

Fittingly, in year three, Braxton has used three of their favorite hops — Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic — and dry hopped three different times. The beer pours a hazy straw yellow and gives off aromas of peach, mango and grapefruit.

The can label celebrates the headlines from the year at Braxton Brewing Company. This includes the launch of Braxton Labs, the brewery’s innovation facility that has released several canned New England IPA’s in its first year open.

“Year three was a year of change for us and the industry,” said Evan Rouse, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer of Braxton Brewing Company. “Between Braxton Labs opening and the ever increasing popularity of New England Style IPA’s, we thought that this Yesterday’s Headlines Volume was the perfect way to celebrate!”

The limited cans will be released at noon on Saturday, March 24. The 4-packs of 16 oz. cans will be $12.99 and limited to four 4-packs per person.

The brewery is also releasing Buzz Honey Peach Kolsch in partnership with Bunbury Music Festival. The event will be headlined by Grizfolk, a nationally touring five piece rock band.
