Former Campbell County District Judge Timothy Nolan pleads guilty to human trafficking charges

Former Campbell County District Judge Timothy Nolan has pleaded guilty to numerous felony charges, including human trafficking of adults, promoting human trafficking of minors and unlawful transaction with minors.

As part of his plea agreement with prosecutors from Attorney General Andy Beshear’s Special Prosecutions Division, Nolan pleaded guilty to 21 counts against 19 victims and prosecutors’ recommended sentences totaling 20 years in prison.

Nolan remains in custody at the Campbell County Detention Center pending his sentencing March 29 at 9 a.m.

Nolan, 71, of California, Ky., a former local school board member, was originally charged in a criminal complaint by the Campbell County Police Department for crimes that occurred between 2010 and 2017. That complaint alleged that Nolan committed human trafficking with a minor by subjecting a child under age 18 to engaging in commercial sexual activity.

He was later indicted on 28 felony counts and two misdemeanor counts.

“The punishment in this case does not undo the trauma inflicted on the victims, but it brings closure and some justice,” Beshear said. “I want to thank the Campbell County Police Department and our special prosecutions team for working this case.”

As part of his plea agreement, Nolan will pay a total of $110,000, a large portion of which will go into the Human Trafficking Victims Fund established by Kentucky lawmakers in 2013.

Nolan is subject to lifetime sex offender registration.

A core mission of Beshear’s is to bring justice to victims of rape, sexual assault and human trafficking.

Beshear’s Special Prosecution Division is responsible for assisting local prosecutors in complex or sensitive cases, as well as handling cases in which local prosecutors recuse themselves.

WHERE IS THE MENTION THAT HE IS A TRUMP CAMPAIGN CHAIRMAN? WHY ARE YOU AFRAID TO LET THE PEOPLE OF KENTUCKY KNOW THE TRUTH? THIS IS ANOTHER SCUMBAG ASSOCIATED WITH TRUMP..THE BIGGEST SCUMBAG IN THE WORLD. HALF ASSED REPORTING, LYING, AND COVERING FOR CORRUPT TRUMP HAS ALLOWED THAT PIECE OF FILTH TO BE IN THE POSITION HE IS. WE ARE ALL GOING TO SUFFER FROM THIS HORRIBLE ATROCITY, AND ANYONE WHO VOTED FOR, OR HELPED MAKE HIM SEEM LIKE AN UPSTANDING PERSON BY LYING, OR COVERING UP THE TRUTH WILL BEAR THE BLAME FOR RUINING OUR DEMOCRACY. WELCOME TO LIVING UNDER A DICTATOR

Just because someone knows a child rapist does not mean they know about the crimes. If you look at Bill Clinton and going to Epstein Island 26 Times, that is suggestive of a connection to Epstein’s criminal activity. Trump went once. Just about every celebrity has been to Epstein’s island once. See the difference?
People should not just subscribe to “if they are bff’s they KNEW they were raping kids”. Not necessarily true at all. MANY, MANY, MANY MOTHERS of children who were molested are the wife or significant other of the child rapist. We would LOVED to have known. Or a father too. I’ve seen the step mother being the rapist. Her husband did not know.

I don’t know the specifics of this man’s crimes but it seems like 20 years is not enough. I know he is older but how do laws in Kentucky work? Does he get credit for good time? Is there a minimum sentence?
Seems like he should get life. The end. This sets precedence.
The younger offender will commit same heinous crimes and will point to this case to get him/them 20 years.

But he’s still guilty of sexual abuse and that alone makes him not fit to go anywhere near the White House.

      • James says:

Show me where Trump has been proven “guilty” of sexual assault. Fake accusations are not the same thing as being “proven guilty”. You lefties with your Trump Derangement Syndrome are so biased you’ve forgotten we live in a country where everyone is INNOCENT until PROVEN GUILTY. Under the Trump Presidency more Human, Child, Sex Traffickers have been brought to justice then under ANY previous administration but yet the MSM doesn’t report a word of it because it doesn’t fit into their narrative of who and what Trump is supposed to be. Wake up and go do some research of your own to learn the truth. Sadly we CAN NOT rely on MSM for truth anymore.

This Judge was never part of the Trump campaign. That is why it’s not listed in this article. The only place you find a reference to this Judge being part of the Trump campaign is at Snoop . Com where they referenced an article by AP. I went to AP website and pulled up the article. They don’t mention this Judge as part of the Trump campaign. You know why? He never was. Get smart people. Don’t let the media drag you around with a bunch of lies. Stop making yourselves look so dumb! Do a little research next time.
