Selections for Saturday, Jan. 6

RACE 1
HIDDEN GARDEN was a beaten favorite when dropped to this level last out. She should like tonight’s added distance and rates the edge for Vicki Oliver with Miranda back aboard. ELDORADO’S SOUL is an invader from Woodbine who drops to the bottom for her Kentucky debut. She figures to be tough to beat. FAMILY LABEL rates a chance.

RACE 2
RABANITO just missed last out and a repeat of that performance would make him a winner in this one. SKIFF’S BREWMASTER is a nine-year-old veteran who is still in good form. He has run well in both of his races here at Turfway and is the one to beat. MARK MY WAY is a contender.

RACE 3
NIGHT GALLERY came up a bit short in his first race back after a five-month layoff. He figures to improve off of that one and looks best with Bermudez back aboard for Tom Feebeck. CINCINNATI comes off of a couple of decent efforts at Gulfstream and drops in class tonight. He will be tough to beat. PAPPY ON THE ROCKS hasn’t shown much recently but takes a class drop and Lebron picks up the mount.

RACE 4
RAREST QUALITY was a game winner in his first race back after a four-month layoff. He posted a solid work since that score and is capable of the repeat win with Garcia back up for Wes Ward. PREEMPTIVE STRIKE drops in class after some solid efforts against better for Ben Colebrook. He will be tough at this level. ALABAMA SON is also trained by Colebrook and has the speed to be dangerous at this distance.

RACE 5
NECESSARY faded a bit in the stretch after pressing the pace in her debut. She figures to improve off of that one and rates the edge with Lebron back aboard for Mike Maker. PRECIOUS LUCK debuts for Wes Ward, who is always dangerous with his first-timers. She has trained well and is definitely the one to beat. SECURITY showed big improvement last out at Churchill and is a contender.

RACE 6
HEAVENLY HILL looked good breaking her maiden in her first try on the Turfway Poly. She seems capable of the repeat score for Colebrook with Ty Kennedy back aboard. LADY STARDUST has been off for almost two years after being hammered at the windows in her debut at Aqueduct and winning impressively in a very fast time. She has been training steadily for the patient Wes Ward, who figures to have her ready for a solid performance. ROSYJERSEY was an impressive maiden winner last out and has to be considered.

RACE 7
ETHYL ETHER ran well in her debut for Bill Connelly and should move forward with that one under her belt. Give her a slight edge in what appears to be a very well matched maiden race. TIZZA TEMPER comes off of a dull effort on the dirt but ran well on the grass in New York and shouldn’t mind the move to Poly. Look for a much improved effort from her tonight. OUR CAUSE and LEISURE are both solid contenders.

RACE 8
DISORDERLY CONDUCT has won five of his last eight races and comes off of a third-place finish against better last out. Maker drops him back to the bottom and he looks like a solid bet to win this one. GHOSTWALKING was overmatched last out but also takes the class drop and figures to be the main competition. HELLO PEOPLE rates a chance.
