Renaissance Covington’s popular outdoor Winter Night Bazaar is back for the third year.
Join Renaissance Covington in Roebling Point on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th to shop, sip and sup local.
Stargazing: This year, we celebrate the Bazaar around the theme of the Winter Night Sky. We are in the Zodiac season of Sagittarius (the Archer). Guests can enjoy Constellation Trivia, along with Zodiac themed gifts from some of our local vendors.
Selling: In addition to some Zodiac-themed items, we will have 4 dozen creators and makers on site for all your gift giving needs all located in our thermostat-controlled heated tents, so you can shop in comfort! Vendors include hand-knit alpaca goods, handmade jewelry, fine art, home decor, food gifts, organic soaps and so much more! We’ll even have a tarot card reader offering readings to help you see what your 2018 will look like! Full vendor list below.
Sipping & Supping: Take a bite of what Roebling Point restaurants have to offer with free samples from Lil’s Bagels, Molly Malone’s and Smoke Justis. All the restaurants in Roebling Point (Blinkers Tavern, Keystone Bar & Grill, Smoke Justis, The Gruff and Molly Malone’s) will be open to serve guests in the restaurants if they prefer. Though the event is outdoors, cozy up to heaters with Roebling Point Books and Coffee’s hot cocoa or coffee. Need something stronger to warm up with? We’ll be selling local beer, wine, and will have hot spirited drinks from Second Sight Rum and Watershed Distillery (bring on the hot buttered rum!)
Singing & Such: NEW THIS YEAR! Renaissance Covington be offering HOLIDAY KARAOKE both nights of the Bazaar, so guests can belt out their rendition of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” or another holiday favorite. There will also be a performance from local drag queen favorite, Sarah Jessica Darker of The Cabaret. Craft Connection Brewery Tours will be onsite with lawn games when you need a break from shopping. REnaissance Covington also has a few fun surprises in store to keep everyone in the holiday spirit.
Saturday night, features the Renaissance Sky Lounge in the Roebling Room at Smoke Justis.
During the event on Saturday night only, the Roebling Room will be transformed into the Renaissance Sky Lounge.
Features include phone charging stations, board games, a self-serve gift wrapping station, holiday movies playing on TV, along with a cash bar for guests who want to take a break from the outdoor merriment. Admission to this lounge is free (though a donation to Renaissance Covington is suggested).
