Kenton County Fiscal Court calls for nominations for Kenton County Pioneer Award; deadline is December 15


Kenton County Fiscal Court is seeking nominations for Kenton County Pioneer Award.

Established in 2017, the award recognizes four living residents of Kenton County who have a record of outstanding service to the community and exemplify the highest standards of personal integrity. T

he Pioneer Award honors those who demonstrate servant leadership combined with awareness of the needs of our fellow residents.

Each year, in the month of November, a call to the public to nominate deserving candidates is made, with a nomination deadline set for December 15th.

A committee, composed of the members of the Kenton County Ethics Commission, will review the nominations, identify four deserving individuals by January 15th and forward their names to the Kenton County Fiscal Court for consideration.

Once approved, the pictures of the four honorees, along with a description of their contributions to the community, shall be prominently displayed in the Kenton County Administration Building until the next class of Kenton County Pioneers is identified.

The four Kenton County Pioneers will also be recognized in video and print for their accomplishments.
