Dungeons & Dragons
6-10 pm Friday, Oct. 6
Welcoming experienced and new players alike, we will be playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e. If you don’t know how to make a character, we will have pre-generated characters for you to use. If you would like to make your own character, we will be making characters and leveling up from 6 to about 7 pm. The Reformation Remembered: 500 Years of Protest & Revolt

Oct. 31, 2017, marks the 500th anniversary of the start of the Protestant Reformation.
Oct. 18: To mark the occasion, Dr. William Landon, professor of history at Northern Kentucky University, will discuss the life and times of Martin Luther.
Oct. 25: Dr. Landon, the Rev. Ronald Ketteler of the Covington Diocese and the Rev. Joan Armstrong of St. Luke Lutheran Church, will discuss the impact of the Reformation. Ages 18 & up. Register separately for each event.

Austin Alley, a May 2017 graduate of Northern Kentucky University, discusses the critical importance of hospice care and why it’s relevant to the millennial generation. Six @ Six is a community lecture series sponsored by Northern Kentucky University’s Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement in partnership with the Campbell County Public Library and other institutions within our region. WAVE on Wheels presents Sharks

The Shark Cart brings live sharks to you with the first-ever mobile shark tank on wheels! This program demystifies common misconceptions about sharks and gets you up-close and personal with these amazing creatures. Learn the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and WHY of sharks! By the end you will discover how you can make a difference in shark conservation. Ages 6-12. Registration required.

Ghoulish Halloween Mansions

The Itsy Bitsy Spider and the Gigantic Web

Sensory Science Story Time
11:30 am Saturday, Oct. 28
Children of all ages are invited to explore stories, songs and hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) activities. This program is designed for children with sensory integration challenges but is open to children of all abilities. All ages. Registration encouraged.

In the 2012-2013 fiscal year, 681,701 people visited the Library, checking out more than 1 million items.
