On the heels of a growth trend, Furlong Building has acquired a 5,000-sq. ft. flex space property at 12 Price Avenue in Erlanger and will begin demolition and renovation immediately to locate its company headquarters.
Currently at 16 employees, the regional design-build construction firm had outgrown its leased space in Wilder.
“Location means everything to us, for our employees and for convenient access to our customers,” said Furlong CEO Jude Hehman. “The building in Erlanger will allow us the flexibility to design and build the space to fit our growing needs and with easy access to I-75 & I-275, the location is perfect for us. Our goal is to complete the construction and move in before the holidays begin in November.”
Offices, conference areas and a construction shop with storage will be included in the build-out.

This year Furlong has completed a bulk warehouse project in Monroe Ohio and it also celebrated the opening of the company’s third completed brewery project at West Side Brewing on Harrison Avenue in Cincinnati’s West Side. Furlong has three other breweries underway along with several industrial, food service and commercial projects.
Furlong specializes in design-build construction, additions and renovations for commercial, industrial, office, medical and retail projects.
The company currently has sixteen employees and was awarded the Tri-State Success Award by Cincy Magazine for the second year in a row. The company was named to the Business Courier’s Fast 55 list of the region’s fastest growing companies in 2013, 2015, 2016 and again in 2017, and has been named to the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Emerging 30 list of growing companies in 2014 and in 2016.
