“I am pleased we can continue building a partnership with Time Warner that allows us to put our men’s and women’s basketball programs in the regional limelight,” said Ken Bothof, Director of Athletics. “We are very appreciative for having a partner of Time Warner’s caliber and for their recognition that both Norse men’s and women’s basketball is on the rise to great heights as Division I programs.”

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will carry a total of six NKU basketball games this season, including five from BB&T Arena.

Men’s basketball home games will air against Oakland (Jan. 20), Detroit Mercy (Jan. 22) and Green Bay (Feb. 9). The regular-season concludes with a men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader on Feb. 26, with both games being broadcast on TWC SportsChannel.

The doubleheader features Valparaiso on the men’s side and Green Bay on the women’s. Both Valpo and GB were Horizon League regular-season champions last year.

The men’s contest at Cleveland State on Feb. 16 will also be carried by the network.

The Time Warner Cable SportsChannels are 24/7 networks that carry distinct, comprehensive local sports programming on different channels across the nation.

In Ohio, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is led by Columbus Crew SC, the Mid-American Conference and high school games and programming, and can be found in HD on Time Warner Cable channel 1311HD/311 across the state of Ohio, as well as on channel 510 in the formerly Insight portions of the Columbus area and on channel 511HD/510 in the formerly Insight portions of the Cincinnati metropolitan area in northern Kentucky.
