Two high school football players who added their names to the record books this season head the list of all-state nominees selected by the Northern Kentucky Football Coaches Association.

Cooper senior Dante Hendrix set a Northern Kentucky record for most career receiving yards with 3,097 and Ryle senior Tanner Morgan became the 10th quarterback in the state to pass for 10,000 yards and 100 touchdowns.

They’re the top two players on the list the coaches association is encouraging members to vote for when they receive all-state ballots. The other players the coaches singled out for all-state consideration are:

The coaches association also selected their All-Northern Kentucky Teams and named the players who will receive Top 26 Awards at the post-season banquet on Dec. 7.

Each of the 20 teams in the association gets to select one player to receive a Top 26 Award and the coaches vote on six additional players to be honored at the banquet for having an outstanding season.
