City of Fort Mitchell announces Tom McKinley, Sen. Dick Roeding as newest Wall of Honor recipients

The City of Fort Mitchell has announced John “Tom” McKinley and Senator Richard Roeding as the 2022 Wall of Honor recipients.

The Wall of Honor recognizes and honors individuals who have unselfishly and diligently served the City of Fort Mitchell as either employees, volunteers, or elected officials.

This year several nominations were reviewed by the committee which chose McKinley for his service with the Fort Mitchell Park Board and Roeding for his overall contributions to the city.

Both McKinley and Roeding will have their names engraved on the granite wall in front of the city building thanks to Lewin Monument Company.

The Wall of Honor Ceremony will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the city building, located at 2355 Dixie Highway in Fort Mitchell.

The event is open to the public and will be followed by a short reception. Past inductees are invited to attend.

Held every two years, the city will begin accepting nominations in January 2023 for the 2024 Wall of Honor Ceremony.
