Correy Eimer named associate director for workforce development for NKADD, director of NKWIB


Correy Eimer has been named Associate Director for Workforce Development of the Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) and Director of the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board, following promotion of Tara Johnson-Noem from that role to Executive Director of NKADD.

Correy served since 2017 as Operator of the Kentucky Career Center – NKY, as an employee of Brighton Center, where he worked in close partnership with the NKADD and NKWIB. As Operator, Eimer convened 14 workforce development partners across the eight counties of Northern Kentucky to connect employers and job seekers through a network of comprehensive services.

“Correy Eimer has been a strong contributor to the Northern Kentucky workforce community for many years,” said Campbell County Judge/Executive Steve Pendery. “His experience working with employers seeking talent, individuals seeking employment and partners serving our community will ensure the continuation of the great work currently being done by the Workforce Investment Board and contribute to the comprehensive vision for the future of the region.”

Correy has 22 years of experience in social services and public administration, working in various capacities, including foster care, mental health, social service administration, higher education administration and workforce development.

Correy holds a master’s degree in Social Work and Public Administration from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s of Social Work, also from West Virginia University.  He resides in Walton, with his wife, Erin, and their two children, Luke and Landry.

“The Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board drives innovative workforce development that must meet the changing needs of employers and our labor force,” explained NKWIB board chair, Michelle Cestaric. “Correy’s experience with building coalitions, working across our eight counties and establishing trust with job seekers and employers alike are the essential combination to advance our efforts now and in the future.”

The Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) is the home for the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board, the largest of six different workforce development programs conducted by the agency. NKADD is one of 15 multi-county planning and development organizations that comprise a statewide network. The NKADD works to foster regional strategies, solutions, and partnerships that achieve sustainable economic growth and improve the overall quality of life for the citizens of the region.
