Behringer-Crawford’s 30th freshArt party and auction Sept. 11 to support youth education programming

For the 30th year, Behringer-Crawford Museum will celebrate the artistic talents of the region with its annual freshART party and art auction on Sunday, September 11, 4-8 p.m.

Raising funds for youth education programs, freshART gives collectors and others the chance to acquire newly-created, one-of-a-kind works, created “fresh” en plain air by dozens of artists in Devou Park the previous week. Tickets are $75 per person and include cocktails and hors d’oeuvre followed by a live and lively auction. Tickets may be purchased online at bcmuseum.networkforgood.com.

A portion of the sale price of each auctioned piece will go to the artist; the balance will be donated to the museum, benefiting area children through BCM’s educational programs.

Submitted freshART works will be judged by a panel of experts, with $1000 in cash prizes awarded to the first, second and third-place entries by the William & Patricia Applegate Fund.

This auction will end at the freshART event on September 11.

Since freshART began in 1992, over $950,000 has been raised, bringing educational and cultural activities to more than 275,000 Northern Kentucky children.
