NKY Chamber offering free webinar for employers on complex issues of COVID-related vaccine mandates

The NKY Chamber will offer a free virtual webinar and Q&A to help employers understand the complicated aspects of the COVID-19 mandates and rulings.

It will take place Friday from 10-11 a.m. Panelists will include Allyson Cook, Erigo Employer Solutions, webinar moderator; Douglas Sutter, Senior Counsel, Taft Law; and Kyle Johnson, Attorney, Frost Brown Todd.

On September 9, President Joe Biden announced that employers with 100 or more employees will be required to mandate that all employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing.

On November 4, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) supplementing the healthcare industry ETS it adopted in June to implement this requirement.

As businesses work to understand and implement this latest ruling, the one-hour virtual webinar and Q&A will help employers understand the full aspect of the 490-page Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS).

The panel share their insights and expertise on the complex OSHA ruling and the current legal challenges working their way through the court system to block its implementation.
