The Northern Kentucky Pride Center has announced the finalists for the 2021 NKY Pride Community Awards. The awards recognize the Northern Kentuckians who have demonstrated a commitment to positive change and have made an impact on LGBTQ+ lives in Northern Kentucky.

Winners will be announced at the NKY Pride Community Awards Celebration, which will be held on Sunday, October 24 from 2:30-5 p.m. at Hotel Covington. The celebration will also serve as the Official Afterparty of NKY Pride, which was postponed earlier this year for COVID-19 safety concerns.
The NKY Pride Community Awards Celebration is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. The event will include an acoustic performance during the social hour from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by remarks from Tom West, the Economic Development Director for the City of Covington, and Chris Hartman, the Executive Director for Kentucky’s Fairness Campaign.
“Especially in the midst of the unique challenges the last two years have posed, it’s more important than ever that we celebrate and honor the individuals and organizations making a difference and pushing for change in Northern Kentucky,” said Bonnie Meyer, co-chair of the Northern Kentucky Pride Center.
