Commonwealth Artists Student Theater to present live ghost-storytelling contest at Covington Plaza

In conjunction with the City of Covington, Commonwealth Artists Student Theatre (CAST) will present Things That Go Bump in the Night, a live ghost storytelling contest in which the winner will walk away with a $50 cash prize.

The event will take place October 22 at 7 p.m. on the Covington Plaza Amphitheater at 7 p.m.

With picturesque views of downtown Cincinnati, each storyteller will have up to 10 minutes to share a nightmarish tale for the audience.

The raconteur with the best story will get the prize. Only students enrolled in high school are eligible to participate in the contest. Sign up here if you want to participate in the contest.

There will also be CAST swag bags awarded to the best costumed attendees.

Several local professional actors — with storytelling talents — will join in on the evening.

Tickets are $10 and all are welcome to attend. Students participating in the contest do not have to buy a ticket. Purchase tickets here.

Bring lawn chairs, blankets, etc. S’mores Kits, hot chocolate, and bottled water will be available for purchase.
