Rob Marshall of Marshall Auto Group, has acquired Earl Floyd Ford in Carrolton.
At the closing of the purchase
The Marshall Auto Group owns Marshall Chevrolet in Carrollton as well as four auto dealerships in Northern Kentucky. The Earl Floyd Ford dealership is on U.S. 227 in Carrollton.
“We’re thrilled to continue this dealership’s great tradition of serving customers throughout this area,” said new owner Rob Marshall. “Earl started selling cars back in 1977 and now its our job to serve Ford customers, as faithfully as he did.”
The dealership is a valuable commodity as Ford offers the most popular pickup truck in the world. The location is close to Marshall Chevrolet just down the road, along with the nearby shopping magnets of Walmart and Kroger.
“It’s a great place to be and we’re happy to keep growing along with this vibrant area,” said Marshall. “There’s a lot of traffic going by and we’re intent on offering a first rate sales and service experience for current and new customers alike.”
There will be a mix of new and former employees in the weeks and months ahead.
