Kentucky Odyssey of the Mind is registering schools with teams of students for its regional tournaments across Kentucky.
Odyssey of the Mind is an international extracurricular educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities and 21st-Century skills development for students from kindergarten through college.
Working in small teams, students apply their creativity to solve carefully designed problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics.
They bring their solutions to competitions on the regional, state and world levels.
Teams from around the world participate in the program.
The registration and membership deadline is Jan. 15.
