Charles Schwab associates and clients make 750 scarves for Scarf It Up for Those in Need


Scarf It Up For Those In Need will benefit greatly due to the generosity of Associates and Clients of the Cincinnati Branch of Charles Schwab located at 4000 Smith Road, Suite 100, Cincinnati.

Vice President and Financial Consultant, Amanda Perkins, and Private Client Investment Advisor, Erin Goodrich, along with their clients of this Cincinnati Branch location, donated their time and effort at this volunteer event by making over 750 scarves at this location recently.

Additionally, they collectively donated the monies which made it possible to purchase the over 142 yards of fleece for these scarves.

Scarf It Up For Those In Need is a non-profit organization which provides handmade scarves to inner-city youth, homeless, the elderly and others in need.

Scarf It Up For Those In Need is a 100% volunteer organization.

Scarf It Up For Those In Need began in 2003 and dispersed 500 handmade scarves. In 2019, Scarf it Up For Those In Need distributed over 11,000 scarves, along with hats and gloves, to agencies who serve the poor and needy in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area.

“Our organization is so grateful to the Associates and Clients of Charles Schwab for their time and energy in assisting with the donation of much-needed scarves,” stated Executive Director Tammy Simpson. “The spirit of cooperation they bring to help others is remarkable.”
