The club often invites political leaders from around the state to speak at its meetings.

Rotary is a global network of over 1.2 million thinkers, leaders, and problem-solvers who seek to unite and take action to create lasting change within their communities while promoting fellowship, philanthropy, and goodwill.

The Rotary Club of Florence is the largest civic and community service organization in Boone County.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to address key legislative issues that will be ahead of us in the 2020 Legislative Session,” said Senator McGarvey. “There will be items we agree on and disagree on; however, I anticipate there will be great dialogue and discussion on how we move Kentucky forward. I appreciate Senator Schickel and the Boone County Rotary Club for allowing me to be a part of this event.”

The luncheon will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport Hotel located at 7373 Turfway Road, Florence. Tickets are available to the public and can be purchased at the door for $14.
