St. Henry High School band, choir and chorus to host free concert honoring veterans Monday, 1 p.m.


The St. Henry District High School Crusader Band, directed by Mr. Joseph O. Payne, and Chamber Choir and Chorus, directed by Mr. Ethan Avina, are hosting a free concert in honor of the men and women who serve or have served our country.

Students will share the history of each branch of the service and perform the anthems for each branch of the service.

In addition, the following veterans will be recognized during the event: Jack Roy, Spec 4, United States Army; Barry Mauntel, 1st. Lt., United States Army, Chris Gunkel, Petty Officer, 2nd Class, United States Navy, and Mark Von Bokern, Captain, United States Air Force.

The program will conclude with a special blessing for active servicemen, women, and families.

It will be Monday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the school in Erlanger, 3755 Scheben Drive.
