Kentucky Humanities will present the 38th Annual Kentucky Book Fair on Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park.
The Kentucky Book Fair is an iconic Kentucky event, founded by Northern Kentucky native, the late Carl West, when he was editor of the Frankfort State Journal. It is now run by Kentucky Humanities.
This year, it features 200 regional and national authors, on hand to sell and sign their books, and also offers panel discussions and author presentations on two stages throughout the day.
“The Kentucky Book Fair is among the longest-running events of its kind in the country,” said Kentucky Humanities Executive Director Bill Goodman. “It is a joy and a privilege to give all Kentuckians the opportunity to meet authors from all over the country, as well as Kentucky’s own. We are looking forward to a fantastic day celebrating writing, reading, literacy, creativity, and civil discourse.”
The 2019 Kentucky Book Fair features bestselling and award-winning authors, including Elliot Ackerman, Jim Acosta, Tanya Amyx Berry, Wendell Berry, Casey Cep, Jarrett J. Krosoczka, Steve Luxenberg, Bobbie Ann Mason, Adrian Matejka, Gurney Norman, Scott Pelley, Abigail Pesta, Mary Ann Taylor-Hall, Frank X Walker, Jasmine Warga, Rosemary Wells, and Crystal Wilkinson.

Admission and parking for the Kentucky Book Fair are free.
