Emily Mohs finished with 13 kills and four blocks Thursday night as Thomas More posted a 25-16, 25-18, 25-11 win over Shawnee State at the Connor Convocation Center.
Mohs also hit .440 as Thomas More improved to 17-6 overall, 8-2 in the Mid-South Conference. The Saints attacked at a blazing .333 clip and dominated the net, holding the visiting Bears to a -.067 hitting percentage.

Lorentz also finished with seven blocks. Jenna Mummert slammed down nine kills and hit .400, while teammate Carlee Lambert smashed six kills and chipped in four blocks.
In addition, Mummert and Madison Krumpelman both recorded their 1,000th career kills. Krumpelman, a Holy Cross High School graduate, finished with five kills to reach the milestone.
Shawnee State, which dropped a narrow five-set decision to Thomas More earlier this season, is now 7-22 overall and 3-9 in the Mid-South Conference.
Thomas More setter Lizzie Schoenfeld distributed 24 assists and added five digs. The Saints finished with a resounding 11-1 advantage in total team blocks.
A three-hour bus trip to the southeastern part of Kentucky awaits Thomas More, which plays at Pikeville on Friday night in a key Mid-South Conference match. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Now a member of the NAIA, Thomas More is closing in on its eighth consecutive 20-win season. A year ago, the Saints posted a 33-4 record and advanced to the regional finals of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
