COLUMBIA, Ky. – As a result of Lindsey Wilson’s four-set victory over visiting Thomas More on Thursday night, there is now a four-way tie for first place in the Mid-South Conference.
Kasia Niderla finished with 17 kills as Lindsey Wilson — ranked No. 13 nationally in the NAIA poll — defeated Thomas More at the Biggers Sports Center. The Blue Raiders improved to 14-4 overall, 6-2 in the Mid-South Conference.
The host Blue Raiders won by scores of 25-15, 22-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Thomas More finished with 12 service errors and three aces, while Lindsey Wilson served up eight winners and had just four errors.
Madison Krumpelman hit .394 with 16 kills for Thomas More (11-5 overall, 6-2 Mid-South Conference), while teammate Emily Mohs posted a team-best 17 kills. Lizzie Schoenfeld finished with 26 assists and 11 digs for the Saints, who entered the match in sole possession of first place in the Mid-South Conference.
Life (Ga.) and Georgetown (Ky.) moved into a first-place tie with both Lindsey Wilson and Thomas More after posting wins on Thursday night.
Jenna Mummert tallied 11 kills for the Saints, while Jess Ginn scooped up 15 digs. Maddie Read distributed 16 assists and added eight digs.
Thomas More is idle this weekend, and the Saints play at Georgetown on Tuesday night in another key Mid-South Conference battle. In their first meeting this season, Thomas More swept Georgetown by scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-22 at the Connor Convocation Center.
