Attorney Tom Miller, stricken with ALS, forms charity; second Cripple Creek Music Festival raises funds

Tom Miller of Fort Mitchell was diagnosed with ALS in 2015. Tom and his wife Andrea, along with their two daughters, were thrust into a new normal.

Miller was forced to retire from his legal practice soon after the news. He decided he would try to improve the outlook of the next family to receive an ALS diagnosis.

Forming Winning With ALS, Inc. is Miller’s definitive response to his diagnosis.

Winning With ALS will present the Second annual Cripple Creek Music Festival on Saturday, October 5th in Ft. Mitchell at DCCH’s Fairgrounds in the Blue Barn. It starts at 2 p.m.

The all-day festival will feature three stages for live performances by a variety of musical talent including Melvin Seals and JGB with John Kadlecik, Revel in Dimes, Casey Campbell Band, Trauma Illinois and more. In addition, vendor booths including Fireside Pizza, Rollin’ Bowls, Deeper Roots, Galactic Fried Chicken, Braxton Brewery, Bircus Brewery, and a bourbon bar will be onsite.

Festival tickets are $36, the doors open at 2 p.m. and music begins at 3 p.m. The festival is located at the Blue Barn – 75 Orphanage Rd. in Ft. Mitchell.

Proceeds from the event go to Winning With ALS, Inc. a Kentucky non-profit 501 (c)(3), to support its mission to support families with children still in the home who are living with a parent diagnosed with ALS.

Winning With ALS’ 2019 gifting goal has been set at $60,000.

Tickets may be purchased here.

Winning With ALS helps families navigate their searches for available drug trials and compassionate use programs and information on understanding Medicare. WWA provides financial support enabling the children to continue participation in camps, sports, school activities, the arts and other areas that provide respite.

As usual the only research that the ’scientists’ will do involves increasing big pharma profits. They will never cure anything as they can make more money by keeping people reliant on drugs, and they will do everything possible to discourage others from trying other medications like herbal medicine but thank God i never listen to them despite all they did to convince me that my husband ALS has no cure when he (my husband) was diagnosed 7 months ago . Am happy to inform you all that my husband is free and completely cured of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) after using baba Bola herbal mixture, the formula works like magic .Always learn to follow your heart, refuse to be discouraged there is no problem without a solution . I was diagnosed of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in summer of 2018, In 2019 i started on Dr Oduwa Herbal ALS Herbal formula treatment, i read alot of positive reviews on their success rate with the ALS Herbal treatment and i immediately started on the treatment. Just 10 weeks into the ALS Herbal formula treatment I had great improvements with my coordination, speech, breathing and muscle movements. I have basically gone stronger than i’d thought i could ever be again
