The 14th annual Kentucky Chamber Business Summit and Annual Meeting will be held July 11-12 at the Louisville Marriott Downtown, with the Annual Meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. on July 11.

The Annual Meeting keynote speaker is Gen. John Kelly, a 45-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who has led the U.S. Southern Command, served as the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, and most recently held the role as White House Chief of Staff to President Trump.
During the Business Summit on July 11, CNN contributor Scott Jennings and Kentucky Sports Radio host Matt Jones will be back again this year with moderator Jacqueline Pitts, managing editor of The Bottom Line, to discuss Kentucky politics as the 2019 governor’s race is in full swing.
On July 12, Gov. Matt Bevin will sit down with Pitts to discuss his re-election campaign and key issues that will take center stage during the 2019 general elections. Both Bevin and his Democratic opponent, Attorney General Andy Beshear, were invited to participate in a governor’s race forum at the Business Summit. Beshear, however, declined the invitation.
At the 2019 Business Summit and Annual Meeting, Kentucky’s state and business leaders will also hear from state and national experts on key topics including the impact of the opioid epidemic, opportunities the hemp industry offers, comparing the Kentucky Bourbon Trail to Napa Valley, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and more.
