Covington Police identify suspect in robbery of Kimmy’s Korner Grocery, other incidents

Covington Police have identified the man they believe to be responsible for the Monday robbery of Kimmy’s Korner Grocery.

Schneider

Police are searching for Robert Schneider, described as a 5-foot-10-inch, 200 pound, white male with brown hair and brown eyes. Schneider is also believed to be involved in multiple incidents in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati.

Schneider is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information oh his hereabouts is urged to contact police at the numbers listed below.

Covington Police have issued the following release regarding Schneider.

On July 29, 2019 at approximately 1429 hrs, officers were dispatched to 837 Main St (Kimmy’s Korner Grocery) for a robbery that just occurred. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to multiple victims who advised that an unknown male white, Bengals T-shirt, orange shorts, black and red hat and sun glasses, entered the store and robbed them at gun point. The suspect made off with cash and one of the victim’s wallet. 

Detectives of the Covington Police Criminal Investigations Bureau were able to obtain information that the suspect was involved in multiple incidents in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. They were able to obtain video of the suspect and a positive identification has been made. At this time, officers are attempting to locate: 

 Robert Schneider M/W, 5-10, 200 Brn/Brn
36 Years Old

Schneider should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. He has an active warrant for Robbery 1st and an Absconding Warrant from Probation and Parole in Kentucky. If you see him, DO NOT approach him or attempt to apprehend him. Call 911 immediately and advise of his location and what he is wanted for. 

This continues to be an active investigation by law enforcement agencies in both Kentucky and Ohio. Further information will be posted as it becomes available.
