Taste of Cincinnati unveils entertainment lineup; includes 45 bands on five stages

A diverse entertainment line-up is scheduled for Taste of Cincinnati, presented by Kroger.

In all, 45 musical acts will appear on five stages throughout the nation’s longest running free culinary arts festival.

Taste of Cincinnati happens May 25-27, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday.

It will take place on Fifth Street, in downtown Cincinnati, from Main Street to the ramps of I-71 and Columbia Parkway.

For 2019, Taste of Cincinnati is working with the Cincinnati Music Accelerator, and its president and CEO Kick Lee, to program select entertainment throughout the weekend.

The Cincinnati Music Accelerator serves as an entrepreneurship program for musicians, recording artists, DJ’s, and producers.

“This partnership helps enable the Cincinnati Music Accelerator to create and establish jobs for musicians within our region – and it’s another great step toward making our future city a music city,” said Kick Lee. “I saw that 60 percent of the restaurants, food trucks and Findlay Market vendors at Taste of Cincinnati are owned by minorities, women and immigrants. Now, the Cincinnati Music Accelerator is excited to have the opportunity and responsibility of helping to expand the already diverse entertainment line-up.”

Taste of Cincinnati, produced by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, will feature 54 restaurants and food trucks serving more than 300 menu items. Taste of Cincinnati 2018 enjoyed a record-tying crowd of more than 550,000.
