NaviGo College and Career Prep Services, a division of Children, Inc., has announced a new partnership with YouScience, the nation’s leading aptitude-based career guidance platform, to provide enhanced career counseling services to Northern Kentucky students.
“While many tools are available for our trained NaviGo coaches to assist students to identify their interests, talents, and passions, there are not many options to reveal a student’s aptitudes,” NaviGo Founder and Senior Director Tim Hanner said. “We are incredibly excited to implement YouScience as a tool to help students tap into their gifts and understand how those gifts can positively impact their postsecondary plans.”
Unlike traditional interest-based career tools, YouScience is the only system that captures real measures of students’ aptitudes and interests through a series of fun and engaging “brain games.”
The program uses a scientific algorithm to provide students with a highly-personalized overview of their best-fit careers, along with detailed information on average salary, regional and national job demand, and education requirements. YouScience is currently used by more than 350,000 middle and high school students across the U.S.

Founded in 2013, NaviGo works to help students prepare for life beyond graduation. The organization’s mission is to empower all students, regardless of income or circumstance, and help each student identify at least three viable postsecondary options before leaving high school. The company implements in-school programming and workforce pipeline development that will now include YouScience in schools across Kentucky and Ohio.
