Friends of Steely Library will hold its third annual “
Good Food • Good Drinks • Good Books” event on
Wednesday, May 15, 7-10 p.m.at the Devou Golf & Event Center in Covington.
Kristen Kreft and Maya Banatwala, authors of Rocktails: An Amped Up Spin on Mixology, will be headlining the evening with a book signing to promote their upcoming collaboration.
Rocktails honors musicians through the art of libations. From these cocktail recipes, the authors will craft two drinks during the event to be auctioned.
Boogie Woogie Hall of Fame inductee Ricky Nye and his trio, Ricky Nye, Inc., will host the event and provide musical entertainment.
Tickets are $100 and include food, beverages, a silent auction and live entertainment.
Space is limited to 200 guests, and registration ends May 1.
Proceeds from the event support Friends of Steely Library scholarship to help high-achieving informatics students complete their degrees.
