Looking to clean out the house for spring?
Kenton County Public Works is hosting its annual Spring Clean-Up May 2nd-4th at Lincoln Ridge Park, Piner Elementary School and the Ryland Heights City Building. Times and accepted items vary by location. This event is intended for private Kenton County residents. You may be asked to show proof of residency.

Kenton County citizens may bring unwanted appliances, trash, tires, and junk.
Please note, tires and appliances will only be accepted at the Kenton County Public Works location at Lincoln Ridge Park. The first four vehicle tires are free; additional tires will be accepted for a $3 per tire fee.
Hazardous material and waste will NOT be accepted at any of the locations. Hazardous items include, but are not limited to, paint, household cleaners and pesticides.
Car batteries, anti-freeze, small propane tanks and used motor oil are only accepted at the Public Works location.
Please bring help to unload waste.

Please note: The monthly clean-up events have been replaced with a voucher system. Beginning in January 2019, unwanted waste can be taken directly to Bavarian Landfill (12764 McCoy Fork Rd., Walton), instead of Kenton County Public Works. The voucher system will allow the community to dispose of their waste at Bavarian Landfill, Monday – Saturday, during normal business hours. Kenton County will NO longer host monthly clean-up events.
