SATURDAY, MARCH 23

Race 1

FASHIONABLYAWESOME ram well in her first race back after a 10-month layoff. She figures to improve off that one and appears to be in a good spot to get her maiden win tonight. DYANIDANCER  drops in for a tag for the first time and looks dangerous at this level. FAITH IN CATHY was only a length behind the top pick last out and is a contender.

Race 2

DREAMING OF FRANK comes off an impressive win last out and should get a good trip from just off of the pace tonight. Give him the slight edge in a well matched sprint. SUNNY’S RAINBOW was a bit overmatched last out but is back in against bottom claimers and figures to be tough to beat in here. NORTHERN RANGER is a definite threat.

Race 3

RAF faded a bit after pressing the pace last out against better. He is a 3-year-old taking on older runners but Maker drops him in class and he can win at this level. SWAMI GENIUS figures to run well and can’t be left out of the exotics. PAPA Y ran one big race at Gulfstream. Anything close to that would make him a winner but the drop in for $5,000 is a reason for concern.

Race 4

OHMYMY has been off since a decent effort back in December but looks best of the ones who have started. AWE HONEY is also a first timer in the capable hands of Cipriano Contreras who is having a terrific meet. PADDY’S PERIDOT debuts for Tom Drury and has to be respected.

Race 5

INFINITE just missed in his first race back after a long layoff for Wes Ward. He has the speed to be on or near the lead throughout and looks like a winner at a very short price. AGAINST THE LINE comes off a couple of decent efforts and figures second best. WISE LEGACY is lightly raced and could improve.

Race 6

PINOTAGE looked good winning last out. She seems to be on the upswing and can make it two in a row with Serpa back aboard for Kellyn Gorder. BLUEBERRY SHINE hasn’t won in quite a while but is another runner from the hot Contreras barn and Prescott rides. STYLITUDE fits with these.

Race 7

TWO SHAKES broke her maiden at Saratoga and hooked a very tough field at Ky. Downs. She has been off since September but has been training very well in Florida for Wes Ward, who figures to have her ready to win this one with Machado picking up the mount. SKY DIETY ran well to break her maiden here in January. A repeat of that one makes her the one to beat. MISCHIEVIOUS LASS rates a chance.

Race 8

TOMMY C ME drops in class and hooks a fairly weak bunch. He has the speed to be in contention throughout and can win at this level. DEE’S RONNIE comes off decent efforts at this level and fits in here. SIR YARNALLTON will be running late.
