FRIDAY, MARCH 29

Race 1

TIZ BEAUTY has beaten several of these same rivals in recent races and looks like a solid bet to win at short odds. NATIVE WONDER figures second best. SWEET ROCK rates a chance.

Race 2

BUSTER BROWN BOY was overmatched last out in an allowance race but drops back in for a tag and rates the edge at this level. BLUE MESA was eased after showing speed when shipped to Oaklawn last out. Both of his career wins have come here on the Poly and he can be expected to rebound tonight. DARINGLY BOLD comes in off a game win and is a contender.

Race 3

DREAM PARK has been very consistent, finishing in the money in 10 of her last 12 races. She comes off a sharp score for Marshall Godsey and rates the slight edge with Franklin back aboard. DAYIN DEAUVILLE beat the top pick when they hooked up last month. She ran poorly last out but looks dangerous with Cory Orm, who traveled to New York and won a stakes race on Workaholic last Saturday. (Congrats, Cory.) ALLURING APPROVAL is back in against bottom claimers and is a contender.

Race 4

ARCH YOU READY won back-to-back races at the holiday meet and is back at Turfway after two dull efforts at Oaklawn. He gets the nod with McKee picking up the mount for Jeff Barkley. SUPREME VENTURE looked good winning last out and a repeat of that one will make him the one to beat. DOUBLE DERINGER is a solid contender in a well matched race.

Race 5

JUST A KITTEN debuts for Mike Maker and has been working with Quickasacat, who was an impressive debut winner here last Friday. If she runs like her stablemate she will be tough to beat tonight. TWELVE MONARCHS is a first-timer from the barn of Wes Ward. She is a 3-year-old taking on older runners but has to be respected. VIVA PER LEI was second behind the aforementioned Quickasacat and comes back on short rest.

Race 6

EAST COAST SWING was an impressive winner in her U.S. debut for Wes Ward. That was back in December but she has been training very well since then and rates the edge in what looks like a very good allowance race. BALLSTON comes in off a couple of sharp efforts in Tampa for high percentage trainer Danny Gargan. She has the tactical speed to be in good position throughout and looks dangerous in this spot. RED HOT KITTEN was a game maiden winner here on New Year’s Eve. She has also been training well since that effort and is a threat with leading rider Luan Machado aboard for Mike Maker.

Race 7

ACCOLADY stopped after setting a fast pace against much better at Gulfstream last out. She ran well in her debut at Churchill Downs back in September and will appreciate the class drop tonight. Give her the edge with Machado aboard for Dale Romans. LADY LEAH showed big improvement last out for Kim Hammond and a repeat of that one makes her the one to beat. LUNE ROUSSE fits in here.

Race 8

LAKE GIRL appears to be in a good spot to pick up the win in the finale. SACRED STORM looks second best. UNEXPECTED VISIT rates a chance.
