NKY Education Council hosting free event to view documentary, ‘Broken Places,’ at Kenton library

The Northern Kentucky Education Council invites the public to a free event for a documentary and discussion on ‘Broken Places.’

The event will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on March 20 at the Kenton County Public Library in Erlanger.

The ‘Broken Places’ documentary poses a complex question: Why are some children permanently damaged by early adversity while others are able to thrive?

The documentary revisits stories of children growing up in difficult circumstances that were filmed decades ago.

Viewers are given a time-lapse perspective showing how some of the troubled children evolved into the adults they are today.
